Reasons For Hero Of The Month
I am in favor of the students council's suggestion to have an election for ''Hero of the Month''. It will give student's motivation, students will get rewarded, and a positive environment.
The first reason we should have hero of the month is it will give students motivation. Students will work harder. They will participate more in class so they can learn more, and also their grades will increase.
Another reason to have hero of the month is that students will get rewarded. Students will feel more notice for doing good things. Students will get a better relationship with teachers. They will improve quality of a better work. And also get a better attitudes.
Finally, having hero of the month is students would have a positive environment. Students

What is a hero?A hero is someone who can save someone else’s life or teach them things that can change their life. Three people that inspire me or made me want to make a difference in the world are Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr. , and Rosa Parks. They are my heros because they done things that they believe in and that they thought were fair because they wanted to make sure everyone had rights to do whatever they want whenever they wanted to do it. I believe that everyone has a voice in the world and if u believe in something u should do it no matter what the risks are.…

“Since it is so likely that (children) will meet cruel enemies, let them at least have heard of brave knights and heroic courage. Otherwise you are making their destiny not brighter but darker” (C.S. Lewis). We need heroes to stand out and help when needed or called to action. Heroes should be people that all cultures/people all over the world can look up to and have a good example no matter how bad their life is. A hero puts others before himself, loves to give back and not take, and one who stands out and sets a good example.…

The term hero has been a source of desire since the beginning of our written history. So much so that the first piece of literature recorded in the english language was that of a hero. Beowulf is a prince who bests numerous creatures for fame and glory and saves countless people from destruction with his supernatural prowess. Beowulf was created to be a living example of what the Ancient Anglo Saxons had determined to be heroic and honorable. Today we have countless heroes who we look at in wonder and admire because of who they are and what they do with what they are born with. And although time has changed and the ideals of a hero have changed with it, heroes still reflect what society embodies as good and evil through those like beowulf and superman through their similarities yet show how it has changed through their differences.…

When I first heard about it, all I could think about was how much work it would require. I learned that there are many definitions of a hero and that not all heroes serve on the front lines. I also learned valuable presentation and speaking skills. Preparing for the presentation made me better at speaking to a group of people, and the next time I have to do a presentation, I will not be so nervous. I also learned about what it means to be heroic. Before this project, my idea of a hero was someone who served on the front lines in wars, but now I see that not all heroes do that. Our veteran, Joe Souza, didn’t see any combat during the time of his service, but I still believe he is a hero. He served his country by joining the armed forces, and most people wouldn’t be willing to do that. This taught me that heroes do things that other people can’t and won’t do. They can be the person who helps everybody out, volunteers in their community, or goes out of their way to make someone happy. There are many heroes in our lives, such as teachers or nurses. Even though they aren’t in danger, they are still heroic because they live to help other people. Joe is a hero because he did something not everyone could do. When he served, he was protecting America, even if he never used a gun. Above all, this project taught me that heroes don’t have to be in danger or do…
