TOPIC: My Friend-My Guiding Line

THESIS STATEMENT: True friends are hard to find and are an invaluable treasure. Friendship is the divine feeling and relationship between friends. Friendship is developed ultimately and requires to be maintained with care. One can not live without friends and real friendship could be a great support in one’s life. Friendship is simply a divine relationship based on feelings and understanding. It’s not an ordinary social or official affair between people but a divine feeling and care based on mutual trust, affection and support. A true friendship is developed ultimately; sometimes relationship could be established for earthly benefits but that is not really considered friendship. A real friendship does not aim any worldly interests rather spiritual and based on share and care between friends. True friends are hard to find and are an invaluable treasure.

The name of my best friend is Ushna. She stands by me through thick and thin. She is responsible, trustworthy and caring. What is more, Ushna is a really good friend for me. She is the person who understands me well. A best friend stands by you when everyone else hates you, listening to your opinions and feeling free to agree or disagree. She is there for me when nobody else is, either by argument or lack of communication, knowing my flaws as I know her and listening to each other without judging. We forgive our stupid mistakes and don't underestimate one another. Through the experiences and realisations she allowed my adolescent mind to garner, I've learnt a lot about myself. I honestly have no idea what I'd do, what any of us would do without having met her. I don't care if people think having a best friend is childish, I wouldn't trade her for a million

Have you ever wondered what the real essence of the saying "A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed" is? People talk about the true value of friendship actually without knowing what it stands for. True friendship is the one, in which the individuals do not have to maintain formalities with each other. Sharing true friendship is the situation, when the person you are talking about is counted as one among your family members, when the relation you share with him/her reaches a stage that even if you don't correspond for sometime, your friendship remains unscrathed. Best friends need not meet up often to make sure that the friendship remains constant.…

Hi, my name is Braden Spangle. I was born in Spokane at deaconess medical center on July 23rd in 1998. My parents are Dustin Spangle and Jodi Griggs. My step parents are Drew Griggs and Dawn Spangle. I have three siblings, my one year old sister Gleason, my brother Grady who is 10, and my step-brother Josh who is 7. My parents got divorced when I was nine. I play two sports at Mt. Spokane, I play basketball and baseball. During the fall I race motocross and I am currently sponsored. I also like to go snowboarding and snowmobiling at Mt. Spokane. In the summer time I wakeboard, tube, and fish at my lake cabins. An interesting fact about me is when I was little I fell off the back of my boat and landed on the prop back first and it cut me open and I still have little scars. In the middle of the summer 2013 I was jet skiing going pretty fast and I slowed the jet-ski down and a boat went really close behind me. While I turned around I noticed a separate jet ski was coming at the huge wave the boat made to jump it. As I tried to take off I was crushed by a jet ski and fell in the water. A nearby boat had to pick me up. As I was in the water freaking out the boat asked for my Dads number. I gave it to him but seconds later I went in to shock until I got to the hospital. That day was pain, ivy’s and air masks in me and on me. The rest of the next month was terrible and still to this day my back hurts. English has been alright for me if I stay concentrated. I got a B last year and I did alright. Some goals that I have set are; getting an A, no missing assignments, and to study for tests. I would eventually really want to go to college somewhere and become a cop or a fireman.…

Many people may ask, “How do I know if a person is a true friend?” A true friend is hard to come by because she is a person that you will cherish for the rest of your life. Being able to enjoy time spent together with a person is an obvious reason to consider them a friend; however, just spending time with someone is not good reason to consider them a true friend. A true friend is not just a sidekick to have fun with, but a positive influence, a good listener, and a supportive companion.…

Is friendship something that we go looking for or does it come looking for us? Are good friends made, or are they discovered? It’s all a bit of a mystery. But sometime, somewhere, friendship happens to all of us. That incredibly neat feeling of “clicking” with another person. That remarkable sense of being “OK!” and at ease with someone else. Maybe we just dropped into each other’s lives, or maybe over time we gradually grew very closer to each other. A friend is someone who enjoys being around us, who accept us “as is” and “where is,” knows us very well and likes is anyway. A friend is someone we feel safe with and can share the truth with – without being fear of having it broadcast all over the place the next morning.…

So making good friends is essential. It is a relationship which is based on the union of same minded persons. Boyhood and youth are the best period for making friendship. It has a great impact on our life and character. A good friend makes us happy on the contrary, a bad friend leads us to hell. The first thing necessary is to have a trustful nature. Confidence alone begets confidence. Secrecy is the poison that always destroys friendship. Moreover, one must be tolerate and forbearing. If making good friends is a science, to maintain it is an art. Good friends are always ready to share the joys of prosperity and the pains of adversity. Good friends are not summer birds who fly away in the frosty days of winter. They are not flatters. So, all of us must be very careful in making friendship. Friendship must be established on the basis of similar tastes, feelings and ideologies. It should be grown out of sincere love and respect for each other. In making friendship we must keep aloof from false friends who leave us in times of adversity. There is a proverb, “A man is known by the company he keeps”.
