Puppy Behavior Persuasive Speech
Most puppy behavior issues are simply an outward symptom of healthy development. When they come to live with you, they are like a little sponge just waiting to soak up everything that you have to teach them. Until they are taught, your puppies don’t understand why they shouldn’t chew on your furniture or slippers, why they shouldn’t eat everything in sight or bite your ankles. Your role, as their human protector, is to teach your pups what isn’t allowed and what is expected from them.

Before you go ahead and do that, it’s essential to educate yourself on common puppy behavior issues. This way you will have the information and knowledge that is crucial for training and raising a well-behaved pup. Be a responsible pet guardian by being aware of the following puppy

However, this can quickly become a behavior problem if they begin to destroy items around your home. If chewing habit is caused by teething, provide them with something that will soothe their gums, such as a suitable chew toy, making sure that it’s safe for the size of your dog. There are also creams that can purchased at pet stores to help appease their pain.

If the behavior progresses past the stage of teething, encourage them to chew on appropriate things by supplying your puppy with plenty of chew toys. When you catch them scratching their teeth on the wrong thing, instantly correct your puppy with a sharp, appropriate command. Then, replace the item with a chew toy so they know the difference between right and wrong. Never allow them to continue chewing on something they shouldn’t.

Barking: Most dogs will bark, whine and howl to some degree. However, excessive or nuisance barking is a behavior issue that needs to be corrected.
