My experience in the Corps of Cadets has been the most rewarding. The Corps is the closest you can get to living and breathing Texas A&M. It molds you into a person you didn’t think possible. We all look back to our former selves and can’t help but chuckle. In high school, I was naive. I thought math was my strongest subject. Surely, I was ready for college and the rest of the world. My plan was to join the Corps so I could get the highest paying job. All for me. Also, I wanted to be challenged. Fortunately, I got a challenge and some. It didn’t take me long to figure out that math wasn’t my strongest subject. Indeed, balancing schoolwork and the stress of the Corps was a dangerous duo.
