Paper on Christmas Thoughts
Christmas
First I will tell you what I think is good about Christmas.
The first thing as the presents as we all know, we love them, and will always do, presents is there to surprise us in a positive way, so at Christmas then there is so many of them, we can’t do anything else then smile, that makes the Christmas a really great day.
But before the presents we get some food, not just food, but some really good food, the classic Christmas duck, sausage and the roasted pork, but don’t forget the risalamande, and the chance to get another present if you find the almond before the others.
And if it all happens and a silent snowy weather, it just makes everything better, and all the lights we are setting up, all the colours of light, the music everywhere, even in your own head, and then the best thing as the 24th then it’s all over, then you can enjoy your time and relax, and another positive thing is that there is no insects in your home, because it’s cold, way too cold for them to survive, so there are nothing to distract you while to relax, best time of all, the days before the Happy New Year thing, the time you can burn some gunpowder. And to make it a bit more fun, you can blow some of your Christmas stuff up.

Now, what is bad for Christmas, there we good a lot of stuff.
First off all I don’t like Christmas, I don’t like to buy presents, all the time you need to get, just so you can go out there and use your money for presents, that they don’t even need, and some of the fake smiles you get then you buy the wrong thing for them, and just knowing that they will return it, and buy something else. What a great time, or should we call it a waste of time, we use so much time at finding presents, and use so much money for nothing, and some people can’t take the time for it, so they can get some serious stress, but do we care about that, no, we just want our presents, and if we don’t get them it would be a sad Christmas.
And another sad thing about the time, is

Hey Virginia, there is more than just a Santa Claus. Nowadays, Americans have either forgotten or ignored Christmas traditions put in place over 1500 years ago. They would rather indulge in the gifts and shopping to please their family than sit back and enjoy the holiday. This new mindset has led Christmas, Hanukkah, and other seasonal festivals to lose their religious intent through the past centuries by the hands of both people and markets. The original purpose of Christmas, celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, has been trampled and overshadowed by a marketeer’s interpretation of how to represent the holiday. Santa and snowmen have become the faces of Christmas, instead of the Son…

Christmas is a holiday celebrated around the world. Children wait all night the evening before for santa to place their gifts beneath the tree. Excitement rages from them the morning of December twenty-fifth; pretty wrapping paper and shiny bows glisten under the christmas tree lights while the bulbs upon it sparkle so elegantly. However, Christmas is not about all these aspects that it is displayed as. Christmas has more meaning than pretty gifts and how many gifts each child has under the tree. This holiday is above the amount of money one kid gets while the next gets so little. Though some see Christmas as a materialistic holiday, it has far more depth than so little meaning. The Holiday of Christmas contrasts greatly with celebrations…

American families derive pleasure in viewing Christmas movies, and the hyperbolized plots give children and adolescents, the most influential individuals in society, unreasonable expectations, which affect their practicality. According to the website, “Problems with Christmas Curriculum,” published by Steven A. Gelb, the standard formula used to create the plot of hundreds of holiday movies, shows the same fantasized version of Christmas, which makes one’s choice of how they would want their holiday to take place, difficult. Although several individuals would like the reality of a holiday to more closely resemble the television-version, visual settings, reasons for celebrating, and the holiday’s ending make individual unrealistically expect a more romanticized version of Christmas.…

The thrill of Christmas eve is followed by a nearly sleepless night full of curiosity and hope. Each and every child lays in bed wondering what will be under the tree on Christmas morning. Most kids have an idea of what might be received because of what was put on the Christmas list but there is always a few gifts not on the list that turn out to be a favorite of the receiver. Then again, there is always that one crazy great aunt that is seen once a decade at family reunions that sends a thoughtful but wacky and usually tacky gift that is laughed at more than used. The gifts received are almost always placed into categories by the child, or any recipient for that matter, the must have presents, the surprise presents, and the off the wall crazy presents.…

Holiday dinners are well known for the staple meats like turkeys, hams or roast beefs, I find that abnormally too traditional for my taste. What I love about holiday dinners are the warm gatherings with my family, the sometimes tottering uncertainty of outside guests and enthusiasm for surprise dishes. My favorite holiday dinner has always been Thanksgiving. I have always attended these holiday dinners without a plus one, there would be an awkward exception Thanksgiving of 2004. Thanksgiving of 2004 I thought to myself “Why not bring an extra watering mouth to feed? Thanksgiving is supposed to be about assembly with outsiders. At least that is what the history book pictures displayed.”. So I invited James. I figured drop a few light weighted…
