My Experience with God
My Experience with God If you look closely at the world around you, you can see God in everything and everyone. Just recently, I had my very own personal experience with God. Even though I can see God through His creations, I finally found the place where I feel closest to God. Many people have told me it is easy to see God in life, but I just realized that God is everywhere. Some people have a harder time finding the right path to go down towards God. I happen to be one of those people. On the mountain standing amongst all of God’s creations, I felt God’s presence strongly for the first time in my life. In the December of 2013, I took a trip to the Deer Lease with my Dad. Out in the open, devoid of much human presence, my mind and heart found a calming peace with the Lord. Without all of my worries looming over my head, I came to the realization that God created all of the scenery, wildlife, and plants that surrounded me on that mountain. As I opened my heart to God and the Holy Spirit, I could feel the Lord forgiving me and becoming my strength. The Holy Spirit filled my heart, mind, and soul with God’s loving image, and all the while shielding me from the many worldly evils. After this occurrence, I wanted to become more like Jesus and be forgiving, loving, thankful, and a peacemaker. I hope I can grow in my faith to be more like Jesus. My experience with God is not something that can be explained. The only thing I can perceive from this revelation is that Jesus has found a way into my heart and He has filled it with the glory of God. I have never witnessed anything as miraculous as being in the presence of the Lord and I hope I will be able to witness this miracle again.

    The main theme is humans can find it emotionally difficult to conform to society, but usually end up doing so.
