I’m very optimistic in a lot of situations that many struggle to see the good in. I’m a strong believer that each person shapes his or her own destiny. This means that I recognize the importance of always doing my best so that I may shape my life into what I dream of it to being.
Finally, I have done my part in being a productive citizen in my community. I spend my down time volunteering and helping out. I do not do this because it’s a requirement for graduation but as good deed. Volunteering is a valuable experience that has helped shaping me into a better person.
Because of my abilities and experiences as a student, I believe I can be considered a strong candidate for the National Honors Society. I have demonstrated the scholarship, leadership, character, and service qualities necessary to join the society. I hope to be considered for placement in this prestigious

Not only did I start to mentor students as early as 10th grade, but also took time out to learn myself. To gain a broader perspective of the world and…
