PREFACE
I have done many researches throughout the internet and discussing with a friend who have helped me a lot in completing this project. Through the completion of this project, I have learned many skills and techniques. This project really helps me to understand more about the uses of statistic in our daily life. This project also helped to expose the techniques of application of additional mathematics in real life situations.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
First of all, I would like to say thank you God, for giving me the strength and health to do this project work and finish it on time.
To my parents for providing everything, such as their advice, which is the most needed for this project and facilities such as internet, books, computers, etc. They also supported me and encouraged me to complete this task so that I will not procrastinate in doing it.
Then I would like to thank to my teacher, Madam Tan for guiding me throughout this project. When I have some difficulties in doing this project, she taught me patiently until I knew what to do.
Lastly, to all my friends who always support me. Even though this is an individual project but we cooperated while doing this project especially in discussion, sharing ideas to ensure that our task could be done completely on time.
AIM
The aim of this project work is to investigate the rising cost of living in a family over a three-year period.
OBJECTIVES
* To apply and adapt a variety of problem-solving strategies to solve problems. * To improve thinking skills.
