Coachmen RV
423 North Main

Middlebury, IN 46540

Coachmen RV products have been on US roads and highways since 1964. The first Coachmen RV products were manufactured in a 5,000 square foot plant in downtown Middlebury, Indiana, by Coachmen Industries, a company founded by three brothers: Tom, Keith and Claude Corson.

Coachmen's first year of production included 12 travel trailers, a single truck camper and 80 truck caps. Since that time, over 600,000 Coachmen recreational vehicles have been produced.

In 1969, Coachmen Industries became a public company, and in 1972 Coachmen was first listed on the American Stock Exchange. In January of 1978, the stock was approved for trading on the New York Stock Exchange. In 1984, Coachmen joined the ranks of the prestigious Fortune 500. And in December of 2008, Coachmen RV became a proud brand of Forest River Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway Company.

Coachmen RV, a Division of Forest River Inc., is headquartered in Middlebury, Indiana, with our primary manufacturing facilities on nearly 120 acres with approximately 11 acres under roof serving as dedicated manufacturing facilities for Coachmen branded Class A Motorhomes, Class C Motorhomes, Fifth Wheels and Travel Trailers. Our Camping Trailers are manufactured in our Centerville, Michigan, manufacturing facilities.

B. Type of Contract (Terms Of Sale)
Regarding that Coachmen Inc. declines any responsibility as soon as they sell their trucks for the export. Coachmen Chile has opted for the contract DDP (Delivery Duty Paid). We are responsible for dealing with all the task involved in moving the Trucks from the warehouse in Middlebury to our warehouse in Santiago. We are also taking care of the payment of duty and fees, the insurance, the Packing …

C. Quantity Purchased
As this product is not very widespread in Chile, actually not one have the representation or distribution, and I don’t want to take too much risk, I will start with a quantity that I am almost sure to sell. The quantity purchased will be 4 units. Later, if the results are good, I will increase that quantity, but for the moment, this seems more realistic to me.

D. Purchasing Price & Selling Price
This Motorhomes RV Coachmen are a high quality product, is one of the most popular RV in the market and also well know brand. I will but this product at $ 43,500 each and resold it at $ 76,000. The company makes me a discount because I bought 4 units of their RV’s. Usually they sell one RV at $ 48,500.
