Needs of the various roles of Featherfall in a new technology
The information technology is an integral part of every medical institution as it helps businesses such as Featherfall to run its operations efficiently and more accurately. For all the employees in Featherfall, communication is vital to services as it aids the exchange of ideas within the organization. Emails, for instance, are the primary means of communications between the employees, patients, and hospital suppliers. This technology is inexpensive and efficient and should be implemented.

For Featherfall, one of the recommendations would be to implement new proper guidelines which will make sure that the employees know all areas of their work. The Health Information Management Team is responsible for improving the healthcare quality by making data accessible for decision-making and management of data resources. Secondly, the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, as opposed to the use of paper charts, is also essential as it will help in making sure that all the records are updated and completed at the right time. Additionally, the technology system at Featherfall should be aligned with the healthcare standards and regulations that have been put in place as industry standards such as the HIPAA. The employee training should also be conducted regularly to ensure that knowledge regarding the new technologies is obtained. The training will ensure all the policies, rules and regulations concerning the use of data are known and are adhered to …show more content…
This ensures the entire system rolling out process does not cause confusion since planning is carefully carried out. A phased approach can be adopted by Featherfall to make sure the problems that could delay and affect the implementation are known before it is rolled out to the whole organization (AMA, 2017). The implementation team can then study the system and make observations as well as get the feedback from users on how the system works without necessarily incurring costs and wasting time implementing the system
