Success is defined as achievement of something unintended or desired such as attaining wealth, fame, or prosperity. Success is seen differently between every viewer. There are many different ways in which a person could be judged on how successful he or she has become. Success is judged by more than how much money you make, what kind of car you drive, and how big your house is. Success is judged by the kind of life you live and the kind of person you are. Being a part of your community and helping others may be considered being more successful than the amount of money you make. A person that works at a job that doesn't pay much but helps others in their community to better their neighborhood may be considered more successful than a person that runs a multi-million dollar company.
Failure is defined as being unsuccessful, to become absent or inadequate; minor fault or defect. Failure is the state of inability to perform a normal function adequately. Failing is not a born habit, failure is taught by ones family, peers, friends and teachers. Failure often results from good intentions and risk taking. Everyone's definition of failure is different based on their beliefs and values. Failure is giving up on something because you couldn't do it right the first time, its believing that your never going to achieve your goal.
Failure is an integral part of the process of becoming successful. Success is the feeling one gets due to the rewards coming from something one has struggled to accomplish. Struggling to achieve is something helps an individual to learn and grow as a person more than achieving things without any type of problem. Being able to handle failure will help you not only in school, but it will be an aid for you in the work force. The more you fail in life, the better chances you have to learn from your mistakes and become successful.
Becoming successful in life will help you mentally, physically and spiritually. In order to be a successful individual one must be able to handle successes and failures. The key to success is learning from your mistakes and striving to overcome them. Life consists of many obstacles and being successful consists of how well one can deal with and overcome the obstacles that may come into one's path. These obstacles are what people fail at in order to achieve success. If you don't know how to deal with failure than you will never truly be successful, because true success is not just judged on the kind of person you are but also on being able to handle the bad that comes with the good in life.

Failure is something I have to accept. I have failed a lot in the past, and I have allowed those failures to effect me in the present. As a young boy in grade school, I would always work hard to obtain good grades. After my first semester in high school, I assumed it was natural for me to get good grades, so I refrained from working hard. After a few months of not striving to my full potential, my academics began to suffer, and I failed a few classes. I was very disappointed in myself, and I then became afraid to try because of a failure mindset. I started to expect failure in my immediate life, especially in my academics. I started to believe I was not good enough to achieve. I would psychologically defeat myself before attempting to do well.
