THE PROBLEM AND ITS SCOPE
Man has come along his way in doing business transaction with each other. Inventory system puts you ahead in game. It helps you conduct business transactions with ease as you only have to press a few keys. It liberates you from a countless paper works as computation of the day’s scale and keeping track of inventory done automatically. Technology has influenced and greatly simplified almost in every aspects of life today. It is amazing what technology has done to our society and how dependent we have on it. Having computers in the workplace has enabled the business to us more efficiently and has contributed in having on all around.
As what we have observed in the School Canteen, Business center and Bakery of BISU Clarin campus they are using manual methods in recording the sales of the items sale, they were also using manual inventory on each items that can take time and effort.
With these things, we, the researchers, hopes that upon the completion of this proposed Automated Sales and Inventory system of Business Center will find it of great value and an indispensable asset in our school. Through the use of this system, unnecessary loss of the time spent on the computation of payments will be minimized and greater customer’s satisfaction will be achieved.
According to the book of University Code of the BISU Clarin Chapter VI, Section 3. Objectives. The UBAO aims to develop entrepreneurship, effectively and efficiently operates and manages all income generating enterprises of the university, and serves as the model in entrepreneurial and managerial education. Their specific objective is: a.) To provide quality products to faculty, staff and students at affordable prices. Theoretical Framework
SDLC (System Development Life Cycle)- is use of our proposed system inorder to make the software succesful. And it is necessary to follow the steps and phases of SDLC. OOP (Object Oriented Programming)- is a language use to build and design the software Relational Database- this is use as the storage area of the system. It can store and retrieve data on it. Alogorithm- is a steps by steps process. It is serve as a flowhchart to determine the process for the software for its feasibility and accuracy.
-Enter Customers Name
Display the following:
-Name of Stocks
Price of items
-Verify and save to the database
-Name of the Creditors
-No. of availability of stocks
-Name of Items Order
-Name of Stocks Eliminated
The administrator user need to enter their password to access the system. And the Customers enter their name.
The software will process due to unsold and expiration of it. The output will be the basis of the Business Center for the management.
At present,Bossing General Merchandized (2012) computerized system are very much needed in companies and business that will help them in order to come up with a better products or services and even accurate data for the firm through the Information System.
