Ofsted's National Standards underpin the requirements of a positive environment in setting that have children and young people under 16. They include the following:
The temperature of a room with babies is 15 – 18 degrees or 20 – 22 degrees this is because babies can not tell us when they are cold or hot so if the room is an alight temperature for babies then they wont be any worries for parents, but if you have fires you must put a fire-guard in front of the fire the no one can touch the fire and hurt them self, radiators and pipes must be covered, smoke alarms and emergency equipment are available. All areas well lit for full visibility for example; current breakers for all electrical equipment must be repaired, plugs covered.
