The Music I associate with from my early childhood would be so many different songs from like the alphabet songs. When I grew up we were not allowed watching TV so much in the 70’s. But we watched some cartoons like the Surf’s on Saturday mornings; I still remember the song Fa-la-la-la. I grew up listing to reggae and oldies but goodies music on my parents little radio in the living room. When I hear these songs I have a smile on my face. It always reminded me when my children was listening to some of the same kind of music either on Television or radio or when they watched cartoons like Old MacDonald or Bitsy Spider with the same good old folk rhymes.
As I got older I remember listening to bands like the S.O.S., Dazz band. My mom always made me play her cassette deck with her oldies or reggae music while she cleaned the house top to bottom. She always danced around while she was cleaning and it made cleaning looked like so much fun. And to this day if I help my wife with house chores I listen to the same kind of music then my mother was listening to. My daughter is the exact same way; she plays music all the times.
The Music I associate with my adolescence is R&B disco music from the 1980’s and 90’s. I loved mostly all of them and I would listen to any songs “I want to be your man” by Rogers or Keith Sweat “Make it last forever”, “Between the sheets” by The Isley Brothers, I could just go on and on. I went through many phases where I start listening to Madonna or country music and different artists like them, but I believe it had something do to with being a young boy growing up. Up to this day I could listen to all the same artists, bands or songs and think about the carefree days I had and being a high school boy being crazy with all my friends. But there was a time in my life where I was real crazy and just listening to rap music and

Travelers among Mountains and Streams is comprised of several design elements. Form, leading lines, and shape. These design elements move the eye throughout the painting in a continuous interaction between the elements. Each section is well balanced and rich in content. The large mountain in the foreground sets the foundation for the painting by serving as a barrier, keeping the viewers eyes from leaving the page. The area showing the travelers moving in the stream sets a sense of motion, engaging the eye to travel through the painting. The grand scale of all the elements inspire the viewer to be transported into the realm of fantasy promoted by Northern Song painters. The painting takes on a naturalistic feel that is derived from the combination of paint, ink, and silk. The people and mules moving through the stream bring a sense of scale to the painting. They are an important element in that they are in direct comparison to the large Mountain. The helps promote the idea that there is something bigger than all of of us and that humans are somehow spiritually connected to the earth. An important idea that Northern Song Artist aspired to communicate through ere work. The painting is done in a realistic approach yet is not set in a specific place further enhancing the dream like quality meant to promote spiritual communication and enlightenment. This interpretation is about the balance between the countryside and mans attempt to conquer it brought to life in the form of a painting by Fan Kuan. In the painting the small humans are engulfed by the enormous mountains giving the effect of unattainability, yet the human spirit to conquering the elements arises out of the need explore. The human and animals traveling through the stream give the…

My life sounds like a lot of things, the sound of my kitten making strange noises because she doesn’t meow, the sound of my brothers chasing each other up the stairs, and the sound of my entire family having dinner at my house for a special occasion. But, those aren’t the only sounds. I have grown up in a household where music has always existed. In every car ride there was always music. That's what I remember most about my childhood, is the music that we listened too. There were memories that had nothing to do with them of course, but there are many small memories that are centered around a certain song that we'd all dance and sing to. The song itself isn't what's special, it's the memories that go along with it.…

From my early childhood, all the way until now and I am sure to the future and beyond I have been fascinated by music. I have loved to listening to, playing, singing, and writing music as well. I can vividly remember when I was very young in our family room we had a stereo and my family and I would dance and play along to music. I specifically remember The Beatles and The Eagles. I had a small plastic snare drum that I use to use until sadly I stepped on it. Both of my Uncles played music and were in a band themselves. My Uncle Ed was a drummer and my Uncle Ronnie was a guitarist and a singer. I remember going to concerts for their band a t a young age as well.…

Growing up in a house with “grown folks music,” my sisters and I have heard many people or groups played loudly, (Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Natalie Cole, and Smokey Robinson just to name a few) while watching our father sing along, swaying back and forth, while snapping his fingers, closing his eyes, and being taken away by the music and it’s lyrics. He would often say to us, “You don’t know nothing ‘bout this, y’all too young to understand.” However, what he failed to realize was by hearing this genre of music all the time, I felt I did.…

Music is one of the greatest and most influential devices that we as humans deal with on a day to day basis. It plays such an important role in our lives and helps build character without us ever thinking twice about it. In today's society there are so many types and genres of music that you can find a song for any type of mood that you're in. Music has the power to bring thousands of people from opposite walks of life together. When I stop and think about the songs that bring up the best memories it creates a wide spectrum of genres. Ranging from Garth Brooks the "Thunder Rolls" to classical Ave Maria, to Bone Thugz N Harmony and Sweetish Rock band by the name of Volbeat. The list of songs to come not only have personal stories behind each and every one of them, but they also tell a timeline from my earliest memories as a child growing up with three older brothers, to the highs and lows of being a teenager in high school, and to spending a year in Afghanistan.…

After examining these very in-depth analysis essays, I attempted to find sections of the analysis that fell off topic and where sections didn’t incorporate themselves to the thesis. Also I looked at which of the authors concluded the essays appropriately and who connected all the information into the concluding paragraph. Both of these authors did incorporate details and colors of the artist’s work, but other factors had to be judged when thoroughly examining these essays. After noticing slight variations throughout “Essay G: Beach Scene in the Tropics” it was apparent that one of the authors was more consistent than the other. I came to the conclusion that “Pablo Cano: Exemplifying Dadaism through Matilda Hippo” had a stronger and more well rounded essay.…

Personally, I really like jazz music of its musical rhythms and bunch of different type of musical instruments. When I do my homework for the college I usually turn on my stereo system on less volume and listening Luis Armstrong or Frank Sinatra. Its help me concentrate and go to the point what I have to do. After that I’m going cook some food and tune the radio to the Europe style station. This type of music makes me feel happy and I always cook very delicious food. I’m not really good singer, but when I’m along at home, and I hear my favorite song on the radio, I sing, I hope so it’s not too bad.…

When I was younger, I didn’t have the great love for musical as I do now. I mainly listened to whatever was playing in the background or what my parents were listening to. I didn’t have much of a care for musical compositions. There was sometimes a little bit of pop music thrown in to the mix here and there, but that’s really all I liked back then. Whether I was in the car, the house, or anywhere else there was sure to be some Beatles, Buddy Holly, or the Dubliners constantly playing somewhere in the background. At the time I didn’t care for that genre of music much, but now as I’m older, I enjoy it as it allows me to reminisce on memories from times of my childhood. Once I hit my teenage years music became my life and gradually started to inhibit my soul.…
