1. Describe the things you have done to be proud of yourself. I think my ability to draw is a thing to be proud of because I know not many people have the aptitude to do it. I think it’s a great way to express myself and when people look at the things I’ve drawn, they tell me it’s real good or they ask me what’s going on in the picture. When I tell them, they say that now they understand it or if it doesn’t look the way I want it to be portrayed to other people, I get constructive criticism in return. Another thing I am proud of is my mother and me being reunited. When I was younger, my mother and I had gotten separated because of my mother not being able to take care of me so I went into Foster Care. Now, after ten years, my cousins had found me on Facebook and then told my aunt. My aunt added me as well and told my mother. Since my phone number was on my page, she called it and we began talking about the things we’ve missed over the years. Now, I’m able to see her whenever she gets the chance to come over and we talk about the future we’ll have together as a family again. This achievement I’ve made is the one I’m definitely most proud of.

2. As teenagers, what do you have to deal with that your parents did not? I think the advancement in technology is the most common problems we have today based on the fact there is cyber-bullying. It causes kids to feel alone and put down when they believe they have no power over what people do or say online. Even if you’re the bully and you post something online you know you’ll end up regretting later, the delete button doesn’t work on everyone else’s profile but your own. People don’t realize the things you say or do hurt others. Some kids do it just because they’re bored and have too much time on their hands or they do it to be in the “in crowd” to get some laughs or a good reaction from their “so called”

Why are Cyber bullying and Social Networking sites becoming more and more Harmful? Abraham Forman’s article on “Social Networking Sites Can Be Forums for Cyber bullying” by: Abraham Fox man. Abraham Fox man explains why Cyber bullying/Social Networking Sites have been a threat for teenagers and children (par.1), and why teenagers are the cause. Abraham Fox man tells us that teenagers are the only ones going around spreading stories/”rumors about classmates”/neighbors (par.1.).”Cyber bullying has become a real threat”. (par.1) also “the Internet has” “created racist forums” and communities (par.1). He states that “hate has always been with us” (par.1), “and other forms” “of prejudice have” “always infected society” at some level”. (par.1). Abraham Fox man article about “Social Networking Sites Can Be Forums for Cyber bullying” is interesting. I agree with Abraham Fox man point on Cyber bullying being the reason of lives coming to an end, and this should come to a major stop.…

There have been some challenges with drawing. For one, I got what seems to be a pretty late start, only starting to really draw my freshman year of high school, and while that may seem young to some, it seems like usually, people start to draw or to make comics when they are still in middle school. So when I did draw, it always seemed like my drawings were “falling behind” the drawings other artists of my own age group had created. After I had finished drawing something, I was always so proud of it… up until I visited the internet and saw all of the drawings that were so much better.…

Even if they get criticized on their drawing, it's something an individual should enjoy doing instead of worrying about what others think. When children draw, they express their ideas and it shows the creativity that goes on in their head. Like Barry said “Without the two questions so much is possible. To all the kids who quit drawing...come back!” (Barry 68). Meaning if you just draw and write without the acknowledgement of what others think about your own work, then you will feel more pleased about your own piece of work. Which makes you more passionate about what you’re doing. For Barry ever since her mother got a call from school about the inappropriate she drew, it changed her life around. She realized she made a terrible mistake and after that “For the next 30 years I chased after only good drawing” (Barry 63). Thus resulting in her being more concerned about only having good drawings and stories. “I never drew for fun anymore” (Barry 63), all that time she was trying to perfect her own work for others and made sure others liked what she was doing instead of having that mind set of doing it out of her own…

A lot of adults say that technology has a huge impact on what goes on in our social lives. Kids, and teenagers, hear things that are on the internet and it turns into the whole school knowing. Rumors about racism can spread very easily with just the click of a button and that’s how everyone gets in on it. At school someone can come up to a person they don’t even know a discriminate them over something they saw over the internet and it just leaves the kid wondering what did he do. A lot of our actions are based upon what we’ve seen on the internet and if something was trending even though it was a bad thing then kids would still learn from it and do what everyone else does.…

After face book was a huge hit, I saw how much arguing and drama it caused between everyone. Since everyone of all ages were able to make to profiles, it became more of a gossiping center. Certain people would pick on others and more and more people would get involved. It then became a huge deal between students that go to the school and the school that they’re in. Cyber bullying became a big part of all schools between having assemblies for students, information packets on how harmful it can get, and having school announcements on how its affecting many kids all over the world.…

Society does not realize the affects of cyber bullying and what it actually can do to a person. Texting and social media have turned into weapons. “So what does cyber bullying exactly mean? Well, as of recently, teenagers have been using all forms of communication technologies to bully others, with cell phones, social networking sites, video uploading sites, and much more. There are no limits as to what has been done or how” (End Cyber Bullying). Many feel that when it comes to cyber-bullying, it simple to just log off and get away from the negative effects. Unfortunately, it is not always as easy as that. People assume if you just walk away and move on, it just goes away. Technology does not disappear. In 2015, there were 1.96 billion social media users recorded (Statista, 2015). According to a study presented at the American Heart Association 's 48th Annual Conference on Cardiovascular Disease Epidemiology and Prevention…

Social media gives access to personal information about anyone. Bullies have the opportunity to access anyone they choose. The movie Cyber-bully shows that this is real life, bullying happens every single day. Suicides have become more prevalent in society and have started happening more often as social media statistics have risen.
