This was significant to me because I had dropped out of high school for awhile and was far behind. In a second paragraph, describe how you felt after the experience.
I felt proud after my son was born it gave me a new sense of responsibility and helped make me to who I am today. The partying and going out ever Friday was no longer important. Watching Spongebob and building forts are my Friday nights now.

In one paragraph, explain why this event was significant to you.
At the time this was significant to me because all my friends at the time had their permits and I wanted one too and to also take on responsibilities of helping my mom. In a second paragraph, describe how you felt after the experience.

I was awarded a wonderful education at Windham High School, but beyond the information I retained, I also learned what is important in life. At first, I thought all that mattered was the clothes you wore, what makeup you had on, and who you were friends with. There is more to life than all that. I love helping others and my induction into the National Honor Society allowed me to do just that, especially in my four service projects I had the opportunity to lead and be a part of. I try to please people and make sure they are always happy and I now know it is most important to give back to the community who gave me so much.…

As my sister and I get ready for college, the money got tight and I did gigs on the side. I did everything from landscaping to repairing phone screens. Felt stressful but, mind over matter right? Thats exactly what my parents thought when they moved overseas to the new world. I felt a huge sense of pleasure as I could see stress lift off their shoulders when I gave them the money This would help me in college because I know I can give myself the extra…

I can still remember the day the doctors told me I was pregnant. That immediate sense of fear swallowed me whole and time seemed to stand still. It was not until a couple of months later that I realized there was no changing the situation and that I needed to make the very best of it. Finding out I was pregnant started out as a very scary experience but ultimately was one of the most positive and rewarding experiences I have ever endured. After the fear settled a little bit I was able to really start thinking about my life and what I needed to change. Up until that day at the doctors I was living day by day doing what I needed to do for me and no one else. I had no job, I was living with my parents and my only source of excitement came from the local bar rooms late at night. I knew things needed to change and I set out on a mission to make that change happen. Alone and afraid I was able to swallow my pride and ask my family for help and the guidance to get my life back on track before this baby entered our world. All through my pregnancy I knew I loved my unborn son more than I have ever loved anything in this world. I knew that my life was no longer mine…

After the speeches students from each class lined up in the auditorium. Many of us waited eagerly for our turn to go the main stage to receive our diplomas from the dean. We were more than two hundred but I was waiting patiently. Of course I was very excited. Soon after that, it was my turn. How can I describe that feeling you have been waiting for so long? As I heard my name, I stood up, walked to the stage and the dean handed my diploma after shaking each other's hands. A second later I heard the applause and the unforgettable moment of feeling proud, that yes, I did it! It was an amazing feeling to stay there in front of everyone, especially in front of your family, your loved ones and see the joy in their eyes. In that seconds and on the way back to my seat I recalled a lot of memories from the last five years.
