1. Assignment Overview
You are again to assume the role of consultants who have been employed to undertake a Soft
Systems Analysis for the Waverley Community Leisure Center (WCLC).
Tasks:
You are to create a UML requirements specification document for the system that you chose to develop in Assignment 1. In Assignment 1, you generated a list of possible systems that WCLC could implement and then developed a root definition and conceptual model for the system that you felt would be best to implement. That system has now been approved by the manager and it is now your task to generate a requirements specification document from the work that you have done in Assignment 1.

Deliverables
Write a report for the manager seeking permission to continue with a project to develop your proposed system. He will require details of the system including any of the following that you see as important:
1. Introduction
1.1 Purpose of the project
1.4 Project Scope
2. Overall Description
2.1 Product Perspective
2.2 Product Features
2.3 User Classes and Characteristics (the types of people who will use the new system)
2.7 Assumptions and Dependencies
3. System Features (special aspects that provide strategic business value)
3.1 System Feature 1
3.2 System Feature 2 (and so on)
4. External Interface Requirements (only those interfaces that are part of the business value)
4.1 User Interfaces
4.2 Hardware Interfaces
4.3 Software Interfaces
4.4 Communications Interfaces
In preparation for this communication with the client you will need to have continued your analysis. At this stage the relevant deliverables are:
