Why I'm Optimistic About Our Nation's Future
“Why I’m Optimistic About Our Nation’s Future”

Why I’m Optimistic About Our Nation’s Future is because right now we are fighting for total equality, among races, sexes, religions, and sexual orientations. Also, there is unemployment that will become a thing in the past that could branch off of the whole fighting for equality point. Economy with grow like the branching from employment becoming a thing of the past.
Education will become more available, and could be because the economy stabilized enough for the country to be able to afford to provide more people with an education. And then everyone could get their associates degree from school. Optimism is a very lodestar of the American experiment. Our nation is of immigrants who left behind everyone and everything we knew to take a chance for a better future.
If we did not have optimism, we would wind up looking at temporary setbacks as unscalable, permanent obstacles. When we don’t have any hope, there is no reason to work hard, to push forward, and to try again. But instead, it is really easier to give up, to give in, and to make do with what is already there.
The same sense of optimism was held by our nation’s founders. And we could have stayed under the yoke of British rule, but founders chose to seek liberty instead.
Optimism is faith that leads to achievement. And it can be done without hope and confidence. The optimism is sheer terror.
Here are several reasons why we should be optimistic about the future. Gay rights, this reason could be an important week for gay and lesbians, because they are really close on the verge of obtaining equal status in America. Our brave soldiers will be likely to be accelerated based upon recent actions of the Iraqi government. It will continue to shun and disrespect the president and the new Secretary of the State. The loss of lives, and treasure for an unattainable goal to build a democracy was a horrible investment.
Optimism is a kind of heart that is stimulant.

Optimism is hard for me to achieve. I’ve been through so many tough times in my seventeen years and it is very difficult to stay positive. I’ve had to suffer through many broken bones and surgeries, depression and the things that go along with it, and also being bullied in school. I try to stay as optimistic as I can. Being positive and hoping for the best is about all I can do for myself. My life definitely has not been the best but even through all of the terrible things I’ve endured, I can still keep a positive outlook on things.…

Many studies have been conducted to determine whether optimism can actually lead to better physical and psychological well-being. Essentially, optimists are said to see the glass as half-full instead of half-empty. They are able to find something positive in any negative situation that they may encounter. In this paper I will analyze several instances of how optimism can affect both physical and psychological health.…

When a person displays a positive psychology, he is very hopeful for the future and this is reflected in his performance whether in school or at work. As noted, his personality traits will determine his behavior or reaction (Coon and Mitterer, 2010). He does not make excuses for bad things or allow temporary setbacks to deter him, but continues to persevere (Seligman M.E.P., 2002). Upon completion of my Optimism Test, my overall score was average. Three experiences that account for my level of optimism were my decision to relocate, my experiences as a grandmother, and my divorce. These experiences may be life-altering for some, but they have not made me feel bad about the way I choose to live my life.…
