In the setting the costumes that the characters wear kind of tell what kind of person they are. Like curley's wife she wears a different dress each day and fixes her hair. That to me means like she has the money and then you have like linne,george,candy,crooks who wear the same clothes because they don't have the money too.I think this adds to the movie by telling the readers what time it is in by what the characters wears and the busses that take them places.I think that the color of the film made the book seem like it went with the book because it had and old look to it …show more content…
In the book its has them working to provide for themselves. Lennie is mostly isolated by not being in most conversation because he has know idea what they are talking about. Then you have curley's wife who talks about curley not ever being around and she gets a little lonely. In the book i could imagine them being lonely and in the movie i could see it too by their expressions. The way that they acted and looked made me feel so sorry for them. One of the things that was really sad was when carlson shot Candy's dog. That dog was so special to candy, because he raised it since it was a puppy and for letting a stranger shoot it made candy feel even
