Ted Bundy was born on November 24, 1946 at the Elizabeth Lund Home for Unwed Mothers in Burlington, Vermont. Bundy’s mother Eleanor Louise Cowell was not married and still to this day does not know who the real father is. His grandparents took him in as if he were their own child and changed his name, he became Theodore Robert

He has never specified when he found out that Louise was his mother, it has been said that he found out in high school or he found out after a traumatic breakup with a college girlfriend. Bundy stated as a young boy he found pornography. He found this in the local grocery store and in a local drug store. He became fascinated with the hard core pornography. Bundy stated that it happened in stages. “My experience with pornography generally, but with pornography that deals on a violent level with sexuality, is once you become addicted to it — and I look at this as a kind of addiction like other kinds of addiction — I would keep looking for more potent, more explicit, more graphic kinds of material. OPINION Well, at first I thought, Ted Bundy would offer a lot of material especially forensics…then it turned out his case really offered frustration and a bite mark. Along with the lack of evidence linking Bundy to cases, there was a lack of scholarly resources to be found. I was able to find some resources, but the most prevalent one used was Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule, who was a long time friend of Bundy.…

Instead of just stopping his car, he tried to get away by turning his car lights off and speeding through stop signs. When they finally got to him, they searched his car, because he was said to be suspicious. When they searched his car they found hand cuffs, an ice pick, a crowbar, pantyhose with holes for his eyes, along with other suspicious items. The front side of Bundy’s passenger side was also missing, they later arrested Ted on suspicion of burglary. After this Bundy was arrested many more times. Arthur Radley famously known as Boo Radley in the city of Macomb, Alabama has been accused of murdering his father. According to Stephanie Crawford, Boo apparently, “drove the scissors into his parent’s leg, pulled them out, wiped them on his pants and resumed his activity.”(Lee 12). The nickname,” Boo Radley”, is one of the many examples of the rumors spreading around Macomb surrounding this mysterious man. “ The Radley place was inhabited by unknown entity the mere description of whom was enough to make us behave for days on end.” (Lee 7). Just the thought of what Boo could do to the people of Maycomb frightened them enough to make them behave for days. The house’s appearances was another main factor of why people wouldn't dare walk by Boo’s…

His mother Eleanor Cowell, was twenty-two years old and was unmarried when she had her son Ted, which scandalized her deeply religious parents. She later brought Ted to her parents in Philadelphia. To hide the fact he was an illegitimate child, Bundy was raised as the adopted son of his grandparents and was told that his mother was his sister. In 1951, Eleanor later moved with Ted to Tacoma, Washington and finally became married to Johnnie Bundy. At the age of 3, Ted became fascinated by knives and other burglary tools he can find. He’s imagination was not like any ordinary child as he grew, but he’s imagination was more dreadful. In school, Bundy was a shy and bright child who did well in school but not with his peers. Paralleling this tendency, ‘Biography Editors’ points out that as a teenager, a darker side of his character started to emerge. He started to look in other people’s window and thought nothing of stealing things he wanted from others. Next, while he was a student at the University of Washington, Bundy fell in love with a wealthy and pretty young woman name Carole Anne Boone. He became married and brought a beautiful daughter in the world in October of 1982. Finally, Bundy’s horrible imagination was starting to grow bigger and bigger over the years. Even though, he attended the best school in Washington, met the love of his life, nothing didn’t stop his imagination of killing by making it a…

In my opinion I really don't know how to feel what he was doing was bring but. I'm having hard time trying to find out why he did it. When I watch his interview he said he watched porn. And that wasn't enough all the violent things that was on there he wanted to do it . The minds of cereal killers are crazy . All the stuff that goes on in there head everyday . Some don't even know what there doing is bad. I couldn't kill somebody and feel okay with it I could see if it was self defense but you purposely kill someone you have to be out of your mind . And what makes me mad is he had a good child hood besides his mother abandoning him . He grew up in a normal house yet he went down the wrong path .
