Should Medical Ethics Be Influenced on Abortion

Abortion can be defined as “Premature termination of the foetus from the womb either done by operation or by medication". The meaning of abortion is quiet clear from its definition. As far as different views are concerned mostly all sects of Christianity are against the concept of abortion, there are humanitarian groups which are in favor of it, they have their own views which are totally different then the religious views, if we look at what different groups think we will find out that there is equal acceptance and opposition on the concept of abortion.

In Christianity Jesus Christ doesn’t talk about Abortion , he talks about moral evil such as murder and the consequences of the sin of murder for example in Matthew 26:52 he states ‘’he who carries a sword shall die by one ‘’ and in the book of Job 1:21 it states that ‘’ God gives and God takes away ‘’ this could be directed to abortion as people who carry out surgical abortions on a daily basis are those who terminate the chances of a baby living and as the termination of life is known as murder , murder is taking away a life , the person who gives us life is God meaning they’re taking from God & it is wrong to take away a sacred gift of human life , some atheist may argue that victims of rape and mothers in a financial state would say that Medical ethics shouldn’t be influenced on Christian views however Jeremiah 1:5 suggest that pregnancy is a blessing no matter what happens during the journey of it as it states ‘’ Before I formed you in the womb I knew you , before you were born I set you apart ; I appointed you as a prophet of the nations’’ meaning God has a plan for every baby no pregnancy is a mistake or an unfortunate event to a mother as it is in God’s plan , a Christian sees abortion as murder as it’s the termination of a pregnancy and a pregnancy is known as the beginning of a baby’s life , Jesus preaches about murder in his commandments ‘’Thou shall not kill’’ in the book of Matthew 5:21 ‘’ you
