The rationale of this study is to provide a critical awareness and transparent discourse to determine whether the phenomenon of false confession specific-factor: confusion in the outcome of the Reid technique differs across youth suspects; and, to what extent youth suspects without physical evidence wrongfully interrogated and convicted. The purpose of this thesis is to examine detailed the Reid Technique and to explore factors that influence the inability and deficiency of interviewing and convictions. I propose to review the available literature and youth offender cases. In this review, I will achieve the following three objectives:

2. What evaluative criteria should be used in judging the liability of investigator officers and deal with wrongful convictions?
3. What are the significant elements in the theory of “Epistemology of Confess that can identify innocent youth offenders as similarly reported from DNA
