Cars are everywhere that people go. They are used by most people all around the world to get from point a to point b. It is the main form of transportation used in New Zealand and cars are about the change drastically for the better. This essay will be discussing why driverless cars will benefit society. Driverless will benefit society because it will help make roads safer, decrease the amount of traffic and will also help save the environment.
The first reason to why driverless cars will benefit society is because it is safer. In 2016, 328 people died on New Zealand roads alone. 12000 people were injured in motor vehicle related incidents, with almost 267 injuries per 100,000 population (Ministry of Transport September 2016).
