Most Influential Person
When asked who was the most influential person in my life without any hesitation I knew it was my father. My father has impacted my life greatly and has helped me become the person I am today. He has helped me in many ways; he pushes me to be the best, he is always there for me, and he possesses good qualities that I try to obtain. My father is always pushing me to be the best. Whether it is with school, sports, or even a silly competition, he wants me to be the best. He pushes me harder when it comes to school. He believes that I have a bright future ahead of me, and wants me to make the most out of it by getting good grades and going to a good college. He has never let me settle for anything that is below average. He always tells me that I am not an average girl, therefore; I should not accept anything that is not above average. He has taught me that with constant hard work, I will never fail. Even though, at times I get annoyed with him always pushing me, I know that he is just doing it because he wants the best for me. And so far, I have succeeded every time I have listened to him. Without him constantly pushing me, I would not be the hard working successful person I am today. Whenever I have a problem with anything I can always go to my father. He has shown me that a parent can be more than just your parent they can be your friend as well. My father definitely is my best friend. He has helped me through so much; school work, girl drama, family problems, and even with boys. He always supports me in whatever decision I make, even if it is not quite what he wanted it to be. At times I think the advice he is giving me is wrong, but I still listen to him because in the end he always ends up being right. Also, he has helped me become a stronger person by always telling me to stick up for myself no matter what the situation is. With all his advice and support I have become a stronger and better person. My father possesses many great qualities that I, one day,

I have had multiple influential people in my life, but I'm not going to say my parents or a great teacher, but rather someone closer to my age. Andrew Calton, a good friend and great influence. Andrew helped me “get back on my feet” when I was scared to kayak. I would stay on the lake and not go on rivers because I had no confidence in myself. Late at night he and Jack White, another good friend, came to my cabin at camp and told me there was a spot on a trip and he wanted me to go. I went on the trip and the fact that they wanted me to go boosted my confidence. We went on harder rivers I had never been on and I did not swim, or bail out of by boat once.…

Sometimes in life, you encounter someone who positively changes your own ideals. Personally, that specific person would have to my grandfather, Earl Childers. He is the kind of person who always has time to talk to his grandchildren. My grandfather is the type of community leader who has provided hundreds of jobs to those in need, as well as given inspiration to many. While growing up, my grandfather was a role model to me. Without him in my life, then I would not have been able to develop into such an enthusiastic, young gentleman. As a result of the influence that my grandfather had on me, I have acquired the capability to excel in anything that I exert effort into. He has also shown me the importance of helping others; and, in exchange, I have received a better perspective on life.…

He never lets anyone get under his skin. He is very strong and has great fortitude. If I ever need to know what to do in a situation my dad has the best advice. To me my dad is and will always be the strongest person I will ever know. To fight so hard and for so long against a battle you know you have no chance of winning, is extraordinary. I like to think of him as my guardian angel and that no matter where I go or what I do, he’ll always be looking over me.…

My father believes in the traditional role of the father but he is in a modern role of the father. He believes that the father/husband should be the man of the house, support the house hold, made the rules, and over all to protect them. Even when he is not working, he still makes sure all the payments of the bills are paid and supports us in everything we need. He always taught us about life, all the good things and bad things, we can do and things not to do, because he already passed through the same moments as us and knows if something is going to end bad or well. In addition, he shows us the…
