Information around it and I am going to break it down into three distinct categories. First, will be how the skateboarding was created. Next, I will explain how the sport has affected our society. Then, I will explain how the sport affects my community. Now it is not uncommon to see parents in skate shops buying for their kids. Brands like Rip Curl, Quiksilver, and Billabong are dominant brands in the skating world. These brands have taken over the skating world and spread it to new people. Now skating events are held with with sophisticated tournament processes and complex arenas. Skateboarding has influenced lots of parks to add skating sections and the number of these skateparks is on the rise with some even popping up in other continents giving poorer countries a way to entertain themselves. Skateboarding has given people a new major sport for those who don’t want to be pressured by the money and the fame by providing pay through sponsorships and tournaments that give the competitive sport people want but still won't consume their lives like other sports.
