This premises supports the claim the question presents in showing evidence that authors of the case study primary target are U.S adults who are over weight by showing statistics that show the readers that overweight, obese, or severely obese is a problem in the United States, Hence further showing that the optimal target customer are Over Weight Adults in the U.S. This premises is Warranted because research shows (CDC) shows that More than two-thirds (68.8 percent) of adults are considered to be overweight or obese. (http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/obesity-overweight.htm). These arthor justifies their premises with cogent reasoning on the stats of U.S adult Overweight. “Many overweight people feel like social outcasts. The professional life of an overweight individual could also be negatively affected, as excess weight has been found to adversely influence hiring decisions, wages, and promotions” True
