a man. She is making him do something he does not want to do. She is trying to get him to listen to her so she can boss him around. The second reason I think she is to blame is in Act ii Scene 2 Lines 52-58. This backs up my claim of how Lady Macbeth is to blame because I feel like she wanted to do the murder herself but she did not have the courage to do it so she took it to her husband. In the lines it is talking about how she should give the daggers to her so she can go and smear the blood on the guards. She just wants attention from everyone. My last reason would be in Act ii Scene 2 Lines 60-62. This is when Macbeth and Lady Macbeth both have blood on their hands and I think she wants the others to see what she has done so she can lie and say that she went in there and the king was dead. The opposing view is when Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are planning Duncan's murder, in Act i Scene 7 lines 32-35. This is when they are planning to murder Duncan and are hoping the plan will go through. Another quote would be “please stop! I dare to do only what is proper for a man to do.” Act ii Scene 7 . They are still talking about the murder and if they think the murder will work out.
To conclude, my reasons were about how Lady Macbeth wanted to get the attention, how she wanted to do the job herself, and how she thinks the job will be better if she does the job for herself. Overall I thought this was an okay play it was not my favorite though. Do you think you would like it if you read it? Who do you think is to blame?
