“The Feasibility of Cucurbita Maxima (squash) as Additives in Baking Pancakes”

Abstract
Our group’s purpose in coming up with this study is to know if it is feasible to use a vegetable in baking pancakes which is squash. We already know that in baking pancakes, it is usually added with chocolates, peanuts, etc. But this time we want to use squash as additives in baking pancakes.
In baking pancakes, we mixed the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a bowl. After they are mixed together, we added eggs and mashed squash then beated it well. We added flour, baking soda, baking powder, iodized salt, cinnamon. Then mixed them well. We added raisins and nuts, and mixed them well. Finally our group baked the squash pancakes in preheated oven 375F for 10- 12 minutes.
After the squash pancakes are baked, we tasted the squash pancakes to the 25 respondents. The 25 respondents are satisfied with the squash pancakes. And the respondents like the taste and smell of the squash pancakes.
Our group therefore concludes that, it is feasible to use squash as additives in baking pancakes.
We would like to extend our gratitude to all the people who helped us in doing our study. Especially to the Almighty God, who is always there, and for giving our clique knowledge and wisdom.

To make either breakfast treat, one needs to use the proper cookingware. A griddle or hot frying pan cooks pancakes, and waffles require a waffle iron. Although, both have advantages and disadvantages, waffle irons epitomizes simplicity and convenience because it only requires a person to plug it in, butter it up, pour the batter, close the lid, and then voila a perfect waffle appears. A griddle or frying pan, however, requires expert skill and time to utilize safely and effectively. Additionally, cooking pancakes requires more luck to get the perfect shape, and for it to not look ugly. Waffles, on the other hand, come with a predetermined size, based on the waffle iron, and easily produces a uniform shape. One day, if two friends decide to breakfast together, a fight would ensue over who would get the bigger and prettier pancake, but with waffles both friends will enjoy an easy-going and relaxing morning. One of the most important aspects of both foods is toppings, especially syrup! Unfortunately, the syrup simply dribbles down pancakes turning them into a disastrous, soggy mess. On the other hand, the waffle’s exceptional grid-like structure captures the syrup in its pockets, thus giving the diner a mess-free and sensational meal of delectable waffles. An easy, laid back, and delicious meal remains the dream for everyone, and waffles render as the go-to food for the people who want that…
