CHOICES & CONTROL

Choices are not irrevocable….they can be remade. ~Julie Riebe
Choices and the control you have on them, help in improving one’s personal outlook. The beautiful thing about choices are that we can remake them, so that they can fit in with our lives, goals and the outcomes we expect from those choices. We also have the control, and no one else in making the right choices, by what we are doing, and the outlook of the people and places we choose to surround us.
For me utilizing exercises and tools from Think, Build, Live, Success (TBLS) and Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and even the Narcotics Anonymous (NA) book, have helped me in supporting the choices I am making to better my future. Admitting my weaknesses and discovering my strengths, with the ability to have the power within myself to make these changes is life altering, which is what the intended outcome is supposed to be. The TBLS book has helped me in giving me a few exercises that are easily broken down with not a lot of room for miss interpretation, sometimes I look too deep into things that are relatively easy and find myself over thinking a problem or issue. Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, my predecessor to TBLS, has been an invaluable tool for me, in the work place, being able to listen and communicate and the ability of creating a team environment to achieve prosperous end results. My bible, so to speak, NA has helped me to create who I am today, it has given me the ability to see myself for who I am, not the product of my past, my mistakes or wrong doings, but in how I live my life today. Working this program for me has given me the ability to open my eyes, heart, and soul and to trust in myself.
In conclusion, I know along the way there will be new ideas, thoughts, and books to help us all in our

The things that go on in today’s society have played a major role in how this generation, along with others turn out. Choice Paragraph

Nowadays, people have to face more and more choices during their lives. However, one choice is better than more choices. There are three reasons about that. First, if we only have one choice, we won’t regret. More choice makes more mistakes, and brings more regrets. Why? Because when we face many choices, then we choose one of them, if we don’t satisfied about our choice, we will regret about that choice, and ask ourselves, there were many choices I met before, but I choose the wrong one. On the other hand, if we only have one choice, then we don’t satisfied about it, but there was only one choice, we won’t regret, because there was only one choice, we can’t choose another one, so we will fulfill our choice. There is an example, when we go to buy a cell phone, there are many cell phones in the closet, we will struggle about which one we should choose, then we choose one, but the cell phone doesn’t meet our need, finally, we will feel regret about our choices. Second, we won’t waste our time if we have only one choice. More choices costs more time, we will waste our time on making choices. All of us know that time is limited, waste our time equal to waste our lives. If we face to many choices, we will hesitate about which one is the best, we are afraid of making a wrong choice, we are afraid of regret, so we can’t make choice as soon as possible, because we want the best choice, it certainly will cost us a plenty of time. However, if we have only one choice, we won’t waste any time, no hesitation. There is an example, if we hunt for a job, we send out many applications, and many companies want to employ us, but which company we should choose? It becomes a big problem, during our hesitation, that job maybe belongs to others. If we only have one choice, will we lose the job? Third, we can hold insist on our choice, and never give up our progress. If we have many choices, we don’t want to hold insist on our goal anymore, if we are struggling in a…
