Cause and Effect Essay

Time management is the key to any success in life. Life has academic, social, work, and personal aspects that take time. A successful life with low levels of stress is very hard to achieve with time management. Usually the end result is chaos and tasks that do not ever become finished. From my past experience in school, I knew that my previous time management plan wasn’t going as good as I expected, so I decided to change my whole schedule and try to get used to it. However, I should be able to control of my time and life, of my stress and energy levels. Throughout my weekday at school, I will be facing different situations that I have to use my time wisely at, for example in class, around the campus, and outside the campus. Spending my time efficiently will help me to get through this semester with a productive result. The classroom has a mixture atmosphere that the students need to understand and interact with. But, many students don’t take this opportunity serious enough, because attending to class and paying attention is a primary cause to your time. The students who come early to class are pretty much the ones who will keep up with the teacher and give a positive effect to your time that will help to easy up studying at your own time. Being absent is a negative effect to any student because missing a lecture from the class will take you too much time to follow up with the class and you might not have time for yourself because you will be working on catching up with the class. Attending class on time will help reduce the amount of class work on your personal time. Being late for class is pretty much has the same affect as being absent because the adjustment of being late takes time to bring yourself to a calming mood to be able to pay attention in class. The campus is a place where student can socialize and have time to interact with the teachers outside the class.

The balance of power in sports has shifted. Baseball, America’s grand old game was introduced to America bringing joy to the faces of men during a time of civil unrest. That brought this small game into the hearts of many Americans as the best sport in the nation. Now, things are different; baseball has been hit by some major questions plaguing the game today. Like most sensations that burst onto the scene, the glory days do not last forever. It is obvious baseball is no longer America’s national pastime because it’s time has passed for a variety of reasons. The baseball season is far too long, the sport is extremely slow and boring, and the steroid era has disfigured the game’s image.…

In any event, time is a nonrenewable source and the words time management can call forth images of restriction and control. Those words do not have to call forth those images if someone knows how to schedule their time properly. Now, most students think that they do not have enough time for everything they want to do but they do have the time; all it takes is learning a few good ways to manage time. One very effective way for scheduling time is to write it down. When doing so, schedule fixed blocks of time first; for instance, schedule work and school first because these time periods are usually determined in advance. Also, schedule essential daily activities, such as eating, sleeping and showering next but be realistic about how much time is needed for these activities. Additionally, do not…

Upon returning to college, the mature student (any student over the age of 24) soon realizes that their ability to manage time effectively directly impacts their learning experience and their family life. Unlike traditional students, the mature student may have a spouse, children and a full-time job that is necessary for them to survive financially. Adults with families will readily agree that their family alone places serious demands on their time. When adding the responsibility of school, it becomes even more difficult to make time for family, work and personal time. Enough time needs to be spent on these three major facets of life. Too much time spent in one area usually means to little time spent in another, which usually leads to stress. Time management professionals say that stress is usually the result of poor time management. Effective time management has to be the foundation of any successful and productive life.…

My time management and study skill have been getting worse. I have English on Monday and Wednesday. My teacher has been assigning lengthy homework assignments. On top of that the teacher for my sociology class, which I attend on Tuesday and Thursday, has also been assigning homework that requires research. On Friday I picked a class that ends the latest. These assignments aren’t just something you can do in half an hour. Right after my sociology class, I go to my job. I don’t get home until 8:00pm so I’m pretty exhausted. I’m also assigned reflections that I have to do for the week. If I want to do well, I have to buckle down and use good time management skills. In order to fulfill each task I should make a schedule that would show me all my free time I have and fill it up by doing homework.…

There are serveral reason why one should not be late to class. One reason would be that if you are late to class you are then behind in maybe an assignment your teacher has given and she would have to go over it again with you which shows irresponsibility which is not very good for you and your school record. Learning to be on time to class helps you in the future when you plan to get a job and if you don't learn to master this it could cost you in loosing your job because have it for sure that your boss will not tolerate a late employee. Being on time to class may seem difficult but if you really know how to manage your time in the morning or in between class periods you will find yourself having absolutley no problem getting to class on time. If you are having difficulties in the morning, one day you can time yourself to see how much time you use up to get yourself ready. That way you know what time to get up so you have enough time to do whatever it is in morning without having to rush and end up once again being late. And this way you could even have time to chat with friends before class and show your teachers you really care about your education. You could also take some time the night before going to school to find the things you will need the next morning that way you don't waste time looking for lost shoes or a comb. Also something that I do personally is change the time on my clock ten minutes forward that way you trick yourself into believing it is later than it really is, it works trust…
