A painful decision II
Introduction
This essay contains two similar stories. In the first story Kevin got the blame for something he didn’t do and in the second story Manny was stranded in India to ensure he didn’t got back to his loved Lisa.
A painful decision II
Kevin was in his bed at home, almost falling asleep when some armed cars pulled up outside. Jerald came into his room and told him that soldiers were at their door. His sister Breed told Kevin that the soldiers came for him and he couldn’t understand why. Kevin told them that it must have been a mistake since he clearly didn’t had a clue what was going on. The soldiers showed them a box with a gun inside and told them that they had reasons to believe that it was Kevin`s. First they said that since they found that at his workplace it could be his. But after a while the soldiers also told him that someone saw him taking the box into the yard. Kevin found out that it could be Kelly that told this lie to protect her father. This made Kevin very furious of course. He decided to go with the soldiers to the station to clear everything out.
Martial Freedom II
Manny was forbidden to see his love Lisa by taking him to his relatives in India on a vacation. He went berserk and was really angry on everyone when he found out that his parents went back to England without him. He told them that all of them were liars! He cried and all this made him feel really sick. He couldn’t believe that his family could do such a thing to him. After a while when he cooled down he really realized all the lies which led to this punishment of being left in India!
This bad state of his lasted for a couple of days. His relatives in India tried to cheer him up in different ways but it was impossible. Manny discovered an abandoned backyard, he went there to find peace. He spended most of his days there with his notebook and cigarettes.
Conclusion
As mentioned in the introduction, both stories contains a lie. In the first story Kelly lied about the gun in

The farmer agrees but tells them they probably won't find anything. But the three men head back out anyways. Hunting is an activity which Wolff's father used to take him and his brothers out to do (Biography 2). It's interesting to see how Wolff uses hunting as the basis for the story. Not long later Kenny appears to start going crazy. He states that he hates certain objects- then he shoots them "dead." He shoots a tree. He shoots a dog. Then he says to Tub: "I hate you" (Wolff 78). But before Kenny could pull the trigger, Tub shoots off his rifle, hitting Kenny right in the stomach, knocking him over backwards. Frank just stood there stunned while Kenny started apologizing immediately, saying he was never going to shoot Tub. Meanwhile, Tub just keeps saying he shot him out of defense. That it wasn't his fault. Which could be a lie, but it isn't said in the story. Wolff is known for his lies and he even states that saying: "I…
