When I was 9 years old my best friend would always cheat off my paper during English class and I would always get in trouble for it. As I got older I learned how bad plagiarism could be and the consequences for it. Copying someone’s published book could also be looked at as plagiarism, if found plagiarizing people could be fined as well.
Everyone look at plagiarism as a crime. I don’t understand why people plagiarize; I think it’s useless and stupid for people to not use their own brain instead of copying off others. The reason of plagiarism I think schools have become stricter when it comes to homework and test. Certain class that I take makes everyone separate from each other as far as possible during test. Also plagiarizing on the internet is worse than plagiarizing in school because people can be thousands of dollars if caught plagiarizing. This reminds me of a time when my older was 17 working his way up to graduating early his senior year of high school until he decided to plagiarize an essay off the internet, but his teacher found out about it and failed him on the essay.
