Why Is Bullying Worse Than Bystanders?
According to www.stopbullying.gov, above 3.2 million students are victims to bullying each year. Bullies are worse than bystanders. There could be many reasons students are bullied. One of the principle reasons is that the victim is weaker than the bully in any way. The reason someone might become a bully is because they either have something happening to them in their personal lives or they were bullied. Bullies are so much worse than bystanders because bullies cause their victims depression and might cause them to commit suicide, they have major guilt, people dislike bullies, and they cause trouble for both themselves and others.

To begin with, bullies make kids depressed and even might cause them to commit suicide. According to The Cyberbullying Virus, cyberbullying is the major cause of depression and suicide among teenagers. It also says that girls are twice as likely as boys to be cyberbullied. Www.verywell.com says that kids might be bullied for their appearance and get low self-esteem. Low self-esteem can lead to depression or suicide. Because of cyberbullying and other forms of bullying, students are getting depression and even committing suicide.

Bullies would feel guilty for causing people to kill themselves. In my personal experience, I had guilt for something I accidently did. If I accidently did something and had guilt, imagine what a bully would feel if they do it on porpoise.     They have no clue how much they are affecting someone and how potentially life threatening their actions can be. They may think they are being harmless and just trying to make others laugh but really they are practically killing someone. Little do they know their victim is at home probably crying themselves to sleep every night because of the bully.
