What It Means To Be An Immigrant
What does it mean to be American? To me an American has always meant someone who is free, someone who is able to live their life as they see fit, someone who can live their life to the fullest. As an immigrant, America has always been this place where your dreams are real and possible. Once my family and I touched down in the United States, our goals and dreams became tangible. Success and American, has always gone hand in hand in my mind. I feel extremely lucky to live in America, if my family did not emigrate here I would not be the person I am today. This gives me the motivation to do well, this is the reason why I feel that I have to be successful.
