Tour Operators
A tour operator requires a holiday representative to work throughout the summer and winter season to ensure that holiday makers have an enjoyable trip. They are the first point of contact for customers so a holiday representative needs to be prepared to answer question and resolve problems. They usually start the day meeting the excited new arrivals at the airport and overseeing transfers to their accommodation. From there their duties may include, giving an introductory talk on the facilities and the area, they may guide and show where to eat, nearest grocery or shopping area, gym facilities and the area what to visit and what to see like museums, leisure centre, parks and more.
They also accompany this holiday makers to show and visit a place included on their holiday, while accompanying them a holiday representative explains and describes about the history of the place and even talks about the area of what they expect on their holiday. So as holiday representative they should know the place they are working or they should be more familiar to their area where they working and they also need to prepare to answer any question.
Travel Agency
Travel agencies needs travel agent who deals to their customer and handles whatever questions and queries customers have. Inbound and outbound calls needs to be handle by an experience travel agent, they also keep updates and keep all the records of every clients ensure that all their date are protected and not to share to a third party and also they comply with the legislation of a Data Protection Act. As a travel agent they must be well trained handling customers, patient and know how to smile on the phone. A travel agent could be on the phone which they called a call centre agent and
