Tim Hortons Mission Statement
7-Tim Hortons® opened its first restaurant in Hamilton, Ontario in 1964. Since then, the focus on top quality, always fresh product, value, exceptional service and community leadership has allowed the chain to grow into the largest quick service restaurant chain in Canada specializing in always fresh coffee, baked goods and homestyle lunches.
Tim Hortons' commitment to maintaining a close relationship with franchisees and the communities where it operates has helped generate immense customer loyalty and build Tim Hortons into one of the most widely recognized consumer brands in Canada.
The chain is dedicated to satisfying the changing tastes of customers through continuous product innovation. As consumer tastes grow, so do the choices.

To ensure the coffee is always fresh, Tim Hortons serves its coffee within 20 minutes of being brewed or it's not served at all. The premium blend is also available in cans, as are Tim Hortons hot chocolate and flavoured cappuccinos, allowing customers to enjoy these great tasting products at home.
Most standard Tim Hortons locations are open 24 hours. Customers can eat in our dining rooms, take out, our use our convenient drive-thrus, which cater to consumers on the go. Combo unit locations, which house both a Tim Hortons and a Wendy's, offer customers the convenience of both restaurants under one roof. Additionally, the 'we fit anywhere' strategy has led to a number of non-traditional locations in gas stations, convenience stores, universities, hospitals, office buildings and airports.
In 1995, Tim Hortons merged with Wendy's International Inc., giving new focus and impetus to the expansion of the Tim Hortons concept in the United States. Tim Hortons locations can presently be found in Michigan, Maine, Connecticut, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York. The Canadian operation is 95% franchise owned and operated, and plans in the U.S. call for the same key strategy to be employed. Tim Hortons® is the largest coffee and fresh baked goods restaurant chain in Canada. There are more than 2,500 Tim Hortons restaurants in Canada and more than 280 in the U.S. Founded in 1964, Tim Hortons merged with Wendy's International, Inc. in 1995.     Forbes points out that by merging with Tim Horton’s and having their new headquarters in Toronto, they are getting a huge tax break due to Canada’s lower corporate tax rate. This was definitely a calculated, strategic move on Burger King’s part. Another benefit that Burger King is reaping from this deal is more places to source their food from, which definitely cuts cost. This merger also allows Burger King to get a foothold in the super competitive breakfast food market. This also will support Burger King’s push to expand their brand internationally. Forbes also states that the new merge will add up to $23 billion in sales. All in all, this looks like a pretty solid deal for both parties.     Transferable Tim Hortons is constantly updating products and adding new ones. They have new donuts, new healthy items and constantly new soup flavors. They create new seasonal products and even had some commemorating the Olympics. It is clear that they can add new products and it is obvious that there is a wide range of products at their disposal to add.
