The triangular slave trade is a system in which slaves, raw goods and manufactured goods were traded between Africa, the Caribbean, the American colonies and the European. There are three stages of the triangular trade. The first stage started in Britain where they sent slave ships from ports like London, Liverpool and Bristol to West Africa carrying manufactured goods that has been produced in Britain. Those goods would be traded for people who had been captured from slave traders.
