The Unique Led Earrings
Want to be the most dazzling queen in the party? An engineer named Bertho Stoltiens shared his shiny earrings Blinkring designed, The earrings have a diameter of about 31mm eardrop, the total number of 12 LED were set in a circle above. This concept of the earrings is based on standard Cr2032 button-type battery with a slightly larger circular printed circuit board (PCB), the operation of the LED parts required is a small circle on the board outside the battery.

Stoltiens came across a number of challenges when carrying out the design case, because he did not have to think a method of boosting the battery appearance, but also installing a switch, so that the wearer can easily operate. Clamp-like battery holder is made of a paperclip, Stoltiens said the very small arc on the battery holder can provide sufficient spring effect to make the battery and battery holder close bonding; other side of the circuit board is the user interface to switch , as which the paperclip structure was used, both sides seem very elegant shape.

Stoltiens said in his personal blog that the existing switching device will be used as the next version of the earring design. It is a very hard to build up the Switch light adopted now.

In addition to the challenges of the physical PCB architecture, Stoltiens also encountered some difficulties in chip programming; the Microchip's PIC12LF1552 microcontroller is used, which can not be programmed by Blinkring’s PICKit2 tools being used, the next step may be carried out by using PICKit2 Device Data File Editor . There is also a problem, PIC12LF1552 has no standard ISP head for programming.

Stoltiens thought a very simple solution that is five contacts were added on the back of the PCB and made a customized programming dock (dock), the earrings can be held when needing to be updated. The spacing is 100mi on the PCB pad (pad) , therefore by using the contacts on the vertoboard be used

I believe that the importance of correct programming and setting up of part is very important in today’s CNC manufacturing world as you are producing very precise components that need to be produced first time, every time or this is bad news for the company because of loss profits, scrap material and expensive repair costs. So ensuring correct programming and setting up of CNC machines is critical.…

It would later be innovated In August of 1914, when the American Traffic Signal Company installed a traffic signal system on the corner of East 105th Street and Euclid Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio, which also had a buzzer, indicating when the lights would change color to give a warning to citizens. These would quickly reach mass appeal, and while many are now going back to traditional roundabouts, the traffic light remains the prominent traffic indicator of industrial and urban…

The reed switch consists of three small metal strips (F,N and K) inside a glass capsule which is surrounded by a coil. F and K are made of steel but N is non-magnetizable material. In normal condition, K (called the reed) is in contact with N. When a current passes through the coil, F and K become oppositely magnetized so that K is attracted towards F and makes contact with it. When the current falls, K springs back into contact with N.…

In order to know how to program a microcontroller, we need a device called a burner/programmer. A programmer is a hardware device with dedicated software which reads the content of the hex file stored on the PC or the laptop and transfers it to the microcontroller to be burned. It reads the data of the hex file by connecting itself to the PC via a serial or USB cable and transfers the data to the memory of the microcontroller to be programmed in accordance with the protocols as described by the manufacturer in the datasheet.…

    BRAIN PORT DEVICE

The device which sends visual input through tongue in much the same way that seeing individuals receive visual input through the eyes is called the “Brainport Vision Device”. BrainPort could provide vision-impaired people with limited forms of sight. To produce tactile vision, BrainPort uses a camera to capture visual data. The optical information -- light that would normally hit the retina -- that the camera picks up is in digital form, and it uses radio signals to send the ones and zeroes to the CPU for encoding. Each set of pixels in the camera 's light sensor corresponds to an electrode in the array. The CPU runs a program that turns the camera 's electrical information into a spatially encoded signal. The encoded signal represents differences in pixel data as differences in pulse characteristics such as frequency, amplitude and duration. Technically, this device is underlying a principle called “electrotactile stimulation for sensory substitution”, an area of study that involves using encoded electric current to represent sensory information and applying that current to the skin, which sends the information to the brain.…
