(Human Resources Department)

Fulfilling the demands of The Human Resources Department can be a very interesting position for its employees. Organizations from all different parts of the world use the HR department as a valuable resource for planning, directing, and coordinating the key functions of a business. HR also consults with executives on strategic planning, along with foreseeing plans the organization will take in the future. Most importantly, the Human Resources Department serves as a link between an organizations management and its employees. With the countless responsibilities that the HR department deals with, there are bumps in the road along the way that are similar to any other department in an organization. The Recruitment Process is one of the most crucial aspects of the Human Resources Department. Unless a new position is being introduced to the organization, companies must rely on and trust their recruiters due to the importance of the consistency of skills each “player” on the team needs to have. If a new employee does not have the correct skill set for the job, an important link between the employee and his/her predecessor(s) are broken. They must pick up right where the previous work has been left off. Employees given this task must first identify vacancy within the organization, and determine where the most help is needed. They must review the tasks of each current employee, and each employee’s role in their department; HR must understand the workloads of the individuals, along with any projects that other departments are working on as a whole. Once all of this is completed, the assigned recruiter can proceed to “fill in the cracks” where need be. When the need for a new employee is identified, a job description must first be made in place to pitch out to potential employees.     The Human Resources Department deals with the employees and the people who make up the workforce in a business or firm. The Human resources Department is important because you need someone in charge of the population within and outside the business. If a company has too many workers they will have employees that have a lot of free time and are not working; therefore, the Human Resources department is there to fire the unnecessary employees that are not needed.
