Freytag’s pyramid the structure of any movie or book. It starts with the exposition, then goes into the rising action which leads the climax, or the main part of the story. After we are done with the climax we go down to the rising action which then leads us to the denouement. The exposition of this story starts with Ponyboy walking out of the movie theatre. At this point, he starts to introduce and describe all of the greasers. After he describes everyone you are introduced to greasers, the people who jumped him while he was on his way home. The rising action of the story is when Pony and Johnny kill the Soc and run to Dally for help. When they get to the church and cut their hair and go shopping for food
