THE EFFECT OF LEADERSHIP STYLE ON WORKERS’ MOTIVATION AND PERFORMANCE

ABSTRACT
This study is on the effect of leadership styles on workers’ motivation and performance in an organisation. The research report has been divided into three sections, which are as follows:
Chapter one is the introduction, it consist of information dealing with the general description of the area of study, statement of the problem, purpose of the study, relevant research question, scope and limitations of the study, significance of the research problem, definition of key terms.
Chapter two deals with the various literature reviewed by the researcher on the subject of the study and other studies on the effect of leadership styles on workers’ motivation and performance in an organisation and consist of historical background, conceptual frame work, current literature, related literature practical in the environment.
Chapter three deal with the summary of findings, recommendation, conclusions and suggestions for further studies. The third chapter covers the summary, the research findings and was concluded with necessary recommendations.
