It represents a deep-rooted problem in our culture and attitudes. We always want our team to win. And our team always wants to win. We are extremely competitive and aggressive when it comes to sport But when they win with the use of substances it is frowned upon and the team is often ridiculed and joked about. We shouldn't have such a drive for victory or such a competitive attitude, not only in Australian culture but all around the world. There is a weapon made of Newspaper. Tape and a piece of brick, it's called the Millwall brick and it was used extensively in conflicts between Millwall F.C and other clubs after games. It was created as a response to the police force confiscating any object that could use as a weapon. Branching as far as sunglasses and pens. This was after massive group fights in 60's and 70's soccer matches in which people would often die due to injuries from knives or anything that could be used as a weapon. This speaks volumes for how insane this spirit can get and how it needs to be put to an end. Not necessarily in the entire world but definitely in Australia. it's an unpopular opinion, it would be a slow process and I'm sure many would not welcome the changes with open arms. but it is a problem and problems need to be solved. Thanks for
