It is often joked that Australia has plenty of nasty creepy crawlies hiding out in the back garden that are just waiting to sink their grumpy fangs into you. While fatalities from spider bites have not occurred in over 30 years, a bite from spiders like the Funnel Web can still put you in the hospital.
