ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
The successful completion of this study would not have been possible without the assistance and cooperation of a number of participants. I would like to thank the residents of Bathway St. Patrick’s for their vast support and time spent on answering my questionnaire. Members of my community, family and friends have been a constant source of encouragement and motivation. I thank my parents for their constant support and motivation pushing me to get my work done and presented. My friends for helping me distribute the questionnaire papers to the public community and for the collection of data.
Finally a very special thank you to my teacher Mrs. Mc Kay for her valuable time and effort spent with me on this project.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
Activities which cause pollution in my community.
METHOD OF INVESTIGATION
In order to collect data from the community I found it best to produce printed questionnaires.
The questionnaire as a tool for collecting data has a number of advantages:
-It requires little time to answer/complete.
-It can be done at the convenient of the persons required to complete the questionnaire.
-it brings out confidence to the participants because of the privacy to their names and reputation.

Printed Questionnaire; we fill these out in doctors’ offices, pharmacies, schools, and even the U.S Census uses this method of input. One of the quickest and most efficient methods would be using a pre-printed answer card that all one has to do is fill in the circle. When fed into a reader the system automatically tracks the responses and produces a report as dictated by the organizer. Another way is by having established questions and answers on the computer and all the user has to do is ’key’ in their answer. Once finished all the data is stored and the report can automatically be generated.…
