Where the Pants were born?
“I could tell the pants didn't come to our lives because of tragedy.” -Carmen

Carmen got them at a thrift shop at the outer reaches of Georgetown with Lena, Effie, and their mother.
“The pants were folded innocently on a shelf by the counter where you pay. I figured maybe they'd been washed. Also, they were only $3.49 including tax. I didn't even try them on, so you can tell I wasn't serious about owning them. My butt has specific requirements for pants.” -Carmen

This summer was big for the newborn Sisterhood. It was the first summer they'd be separated.

Carmen: She was going to South Carolina to “hang out” with her dad.

Lena: She was going to Greece with her younger sister Effie to visit their grandparents for 2 months.

Bridget: She was going to a soccer camp in Baja California, Mexico.

Tibby: She was staying home and working at Wallmans.

All of their mothers doubted their friendship. For example, Carmen's mother said “Just wait till you get serious about boys and school. Just wait till you start competing.”
They denied every comment their mothers made.
“You know what the secret is? It's so simple. We love one another. We're nice to one another. Do you know how rare that is?

Tibby wanted the Pants in Carmen's closet. Carmen with no stutter gave them to her to try on. Tibby fitted in them looking greater than ever. Lena tried them on and the hugged her hips so perfectly. According to Bridget, Lena looked “very sexy”.
Bridget then tried them on. The pants complimented her long lean legs fitting perfectly. Next, was Carmen. Carmen had a huge Puerto- Rican butt. It was hard for her to find jeans that even covered her butt fully. Carmen didn't want to, she thought how in the world can these pants fit three similar builds then fit a total different build.
“Bridget found words. “Carmen, that’s not it at all! Look at yourself! You are a thing of beauty. You are a

Mean Girls, a 2004 American teen comedy film directed by Mark Waters, with the screenplay written by Tina Fey, describes how female high school social cliques operate and the effect they can have on girls. The two main characters in this movie, Cady Heron and Regina George, may have a world of differences between them, but they are also very much alike. They are alike in the way they deal with situations, but unalike in the way they handle the consequences of those actions. Throughout the movie, it will become evident that Cady is the better person both morally and physically.…

If someone asked me what my favorite type of apparel worn on the bottom half of my body was, I would probably say leggings or jeans. If you looked at most of my leggings, you would notice that they have holes in them and are worn out. That’s because I love to wear them. Luckily, jeans are stronger. On a regular basis, I never would choose to wear a skirt. But things weren’t always this way. Not until the world met Amelia Bloomer.…

In the film there are scenes where Carmen, Ana’s mother treats her very harsh and hinders her from attending college. Carmen exaggerates based on her actions like when she did not say goodbye to Ana when she was leaving for college. This can be interpreted by thinking that it is hard fro parents to let their children go but its not always true. In the film the fact that the mom does not let her go might just be because Ana and her mother are not very close and do not have that mother daughter love and bond and the financial situation they are in. The fact that Ana did not mind that her college was on the other side of the nation, signifies that she is not very close to her family because she is willing to go far and does not hesitate by the fact that she will be away from home and her…

Mean Girls, written by Tina Fey and directed by Mark Waters, takes its viewers through high school from the perspective of Cady Heron, a young girl who never known what “high school” genuinely meant. Upon arrival, she makes friends with Janis and Damian, who were in the stereotypical “unpopular” crowd. They warn her to stay away from “The Plastics”, an exclusive clique that includes three drama-filled girls who are superficial, spiteful, and have vicious attitudes that obtain their power and fame from beauty and glamour. However, “The Plastics” ask Cady to join them. Cady, Janis, and Damian together plot against the leader of The Plastics, Regina George, the most monstrous of them all. In reality, the more time Cady spends with The Plastics, the more she starts to actually become one. The Plastics themselves show how monstrous qualities are formed in celebrity culture, while the use of Cady is the perfect example of how culture builds up celebrities to break them back down. The Plastics took Cady, someone who was naïve and candid, and turned her into something she is not through the manipulation of their own standards and rules. Celebrity culture heavily relies on qualities of manipulation. This was done through thru burn book, etc…
