“One nation under god... with liberty and justice for all”. Both Walt Whitman and langston Hughes express their love for america by writing theses amazing poems.

Walt Whitman poem he discusses people singing at work with happy thoughts. But in Langston Hughes poem he discusses slavery and segregation mostly bad events that happened in the past so we won't repeat it in the future. langston Hughes poem gets better towards the end of his poem.
