Trump became President of the United States of America. For the past year, the nation’s news channels have been flooded with information and video on President Trump. This made it no surprise how his Inaugural Address was going to go. Like most Presidents before him, he started out the speech by acknowledging the former Presidents, and other distinguished guessed at the ceremony. After saying thank you to President Obama and his family, President Trump did not waste any time getting down to business. He started going into detail about how it did not matter who won the election, because it always seemed the people always lost. That Washington, and those politicians have been basking in the glory of all their success, but the citizens of the United States of America were the ones suffering. “Today’s ceremony, however, has very special meaning. Because today we are not merely transferring power from one Administration to another, or from one party to another – but we are transferring power from Washington DC and giving it back to you, the people.” (Trump) This is the first of three times in his speech that President Trump talks about
