For hypertension patient taking carvedilol tab 3.125mg by mouth every two hours is beta blocker. Beta blocker affect the heart and circulation (blood flow through arteries and veins). Coreg is used to treat heart failure and hypertension (high blood pressure). It is also used after a heart attack that has caused your heart not to pump as well. Usual adult dose for hypertension is 6.25 mg orally twice a day with food and maximum dose 50mg per day. There are many side effects of corvedilol common side effects includes allergy, chest pain, discomfort, dizziness, lightheadedness, shortness
