You probably recognize the picture above from Wikipedia because it is a portrait of the twelve Olympians of the most famous and influential civilization, the Greeks. Yet, the Greeks also have a famous counterpart, the Romans. Both have left their marks on present day culture and have respectfully done so. It is silly, though, to believe that they did not "borrow" some of each others ideas. The Greeks, in fact, were so far ahead that many cultures emulated their findings; the most popular and similar were the Romans. The Romans obtained many of their mythological views, art, and architecture from the Greeks in order to expand their empire.…

Also, the novel is about a tribesman named Okonkwo who lives in an African village called Umuofia which undergoes the drastic changes of colonization. Leonardo DaVinci’s Mona Lisa is one of the most well-known paintings in the world. Show anyone from a 60 year old man to a 10 year old girl a picture of the painting and, most likely, they will be able to name the painting as well as the painter. While some say that DaVinci’s painting is the most famous of all created, many of Andy Warhol’s paintings are also easily recognizable. Almost everyone has seen the Campbell’s Soup Can series Warhol painted or his famous Triple Elvis print. This paper will be focusing on his Marilyn Monroe series, which I will be comparing and contrasting to the Mona Lisa. There are many obvious differences between the two paintings, such as the time period, color scheme, background and subject matter. My goal is to also point out some similarities such as their use of line, recreations, fame, and prominence in society.…

Becel needs to adjust their promotional efforts to address both a heart healthy and great tasting product, while expanding their target market to the twenty-five and above demographic. Becel's current customers are largely empty nester households where the customers tend to be affluent with high incomes and over sixty-five years of age. By adjusting their promotional efforts to address both a heart healthy and great tasting product, Becel will be able to meet the needs of the twenty-five and above demographic. Becel's strengths include a strong reputation as a leader in heart health and nutrition education, being the premium priced margarine, and the highest consumer loyalty of any margarine category. Among some of the weaknesses of Becel are lack of a strong presence in Western Canada, not positioned as great tasting, and a low advertising awareness. Opportunities include the consideration of health and taste when selecting margarine, selling in bulk quantity to large family households, and increased awareness of health issues. Canola Harvest positioning their margarine as the healthiest and best tasting and offering it at a lower price, competitors gaining market share at a faster rate than Becel, and regulations on the margarine category are among the threats facing Becel.…

This such system says they are democratic, but the question of it being legitimate is still in the air. There has been many conspiracies revolving around the government and been the center of conversations. Some say Jefferson was “the very child of modern illumination, the foe of man, and the enemy of his country (Levy).” The word Illuminati is Latin for “enlightened ones”. The central figure behind all of this is German philosopher Adam Weishaupt. He came up with the concept of “enlightment”, in the sense of “letting in the light of reason” (Levy). When did this all start you ask? This organization was founded in 1776 (McNeely). There has been many rumors about Jay Z and Beyoncé’s association with the secretive society. I feel like there’s more problems the U.S. is having, Jay Z and Beyoncé, being members of the Illuminati are behind it all.…
