Report of Industrial Training at Air Asia

First and foremost, I would like to express in depth gratitude to AirAsia Berhad for giving me an opportunity to become one of their team member. I am very glad and proud to be one of the team members in Ground Support Equipment Department.
I would like to dedicate my most sincere gratitude to host supervisor Mr. Faisal Riza B. Adnan for opportunities given, unceasing patience, guidance, priceless knowledge and supports given to me during the internship.
I would also like to express my thanks giving to Mr. Hj. Zainuddin, my practical training supervisor from UNIVERSITI TENAGA NATIONAL for giving me advice and guidance during the internship period and also in the preparation of this final industrial training report.
Lastly, Thank God for I am able to complete my training successfully. Through this industrial training, I have gained a lot of invaluable knowledge which I can never learn in books and most importantly, I have discovered my own potential and interest.
ABSTRACT
In order to be eligible for the Bachelors of Mechanical (Honors) Degree, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) students are required to undergo training in real engineering situations as required by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM). This is also a requirement set by the Engineering Accreditation Council Malaysia (EAC) in order for UNITEN to have its engineering courses recognized.
The main objectives of the Industrial Training course are to have the engineering students exposed to various aspects of industrial practices and ethics in a real world working environment, and to have the students appreciate the significance of theoretical knowledge in real world engineering situations. As an outcome of this programme, students are expected to be able to appreciate the importance of being a professional and ethical engineer. Students are also expected to be able to potray correct attitude and commitment in performing any tasks assigned. Aside
